獲IBBY波蘭分會2019年「年度圖書」獎提名
瑪麗安娜·奧克雷亞克是獲認可且屢獲獎項的插畫家和音樂愛好者,她創作了此有關當代流行音樂的獨特專輯, 128 頁的大版面作品呈現出 20 世紀中各不同音樂風格的卓越人物。
當中有流行文化偶像,如:大衛·鮑伊、碧玉、王子(他正從封面上瞧著我們)等人, 諾貝爾獎得主鮑勃·迪倫與切斯瓦夫·涅門(Czesław Niemen)二人並列且望向我們,全頁面的披頭四呈現的是該樂團所引發的轟動,來自利物浦的四人穿過一見到他們即興奮到快昏倒的女歌迷間,伊基·波(Iggy Pop)從舞台上躍入歌迷群中,貓王(Elvis Presley)則以獨有姿勢融化女性的心。
瑪麗安娜·奧克雷亞克成功地以一致的形式將豐富的風格、角色和性格納入, 以鮮明色彩展現音樂世界的多樣性。 筆下的線條準確勾勒出我們從音樂錄影帶、海報、音樂會中所認識人物的面部表情、手勢和性格。 她機智、帶諷刺性,有時也對這些音樂人持保留態度,然而始終帶著好感。 她創造了卓越、特立獨行且具非凡魅力的音樂人的真正盛會,成為 20 世紀的巨大迪斯科舞廳。
