A long list of Europese Literatuurprijs 2020 has been announced. Nominated titles have been selected by fifteen bookshops from all over the Netherlands. Europese Literatuurprijs is awarded for the best European novel, which was published in Dutch last year.
In France, a translation of Andrzej Bart’s famous novel Fabryka muchołapek (“The Flytrap Factory”) has been published. The book was translated by Eric Vieux. The publication was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.
In Belarus, the book Łopianowe pole (“The Burdock Field”) by Katarzyna Ryrych, illustrated by Grażyna Rigall, has recently been published. The book was translated by Hanna Jankuta. The publication was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.
