A translation of Maria Dek’s book W lesie (“A Walk in the Forest”) has been published in the Netherlands. The book was translated by Charlotte Pothuizen. The publication was supported by the Book Institute within the ©POLAND Translation Programme.
“Smoke over Birkenau” named the book of the month by the Darmstadt Jury

The Darmstadt Jury named Seweryna Szmaglewska’s Dymy nad Birkenau (“Smoke over Birkenau”) the book of November. The translation of Szmaglewska’s work accomplished by Marta Kijowska was published in German with the support of the ©Poland Translation Programme.
“Narrenturm” by Andrzej Sapkowski in English

On Tuesday, the first volume of Andrzej Sapkowski’s Trylogia husycka (“The Hussite Trilogy”) entitled Narrenturm had its premiere. The novel was translated by the translator of the Witcher saga, David French.
