The 10^th International “Book Arsenal” Festival in Kyiv officially begun yesterday. Twice postponed due to the pandemic, it finally takes place in-person.

The most prestigious distinction for an eminent ambassador of Polish literature abroad, granted by the Book Institute, was awarded this year to Professor Tokimasa Sekiguchi, an outstanding promoter of Polish culture in Japan.

The Book Institute, the Polish Institute in Paris, Agullo Editions and La Livre de Poche would like to invite you to today’s online meeting with Wojciech Chmielarz. The meeting will cover the French-language translation of Cienie (“Shadows”), which was published in April by Agullo Editions and translated by Caroline Raszka-Dewez.
