Elżbieta Cherezińska’s novel Harda (“The Widow Queen”) has made its debut on the American market – the Zysk i S-ka publishing house has announced.
In Spain, the translation of Marta Maruszczak’s Co tam słychać, czyli dziwne dźwięki z głębi ciała (“The Sounds Inside. Strange Noises from Within the Body”), illustrated by Artur Gulewicz, has been published. The book was translated by Karolina Jaszecka. The publication was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.
The Polish Book Institute, the Polish Cultural Institute London, and the Polish Cultural Institute New York are pleased to announce that the 2021 Found in Translation Award goes to Ewa Małachowska-Pasek and Megan Thomas for The Career of Nicodemus Dyzma by Tadeusz Dołęga-Mostowicz published by Northwestern University Press (2020) .
