Every year, Estonia’s largest daily Postimees awards a highly prestigious Kultuurivedur (Locomotive of Culture) award to the most influential person or cultural institution. This year, the laurel goes to Hendrik Lindepuu as ambassador for Polish literature.
Stanisław Lem’s “Pamiętnik znaleziony w wannie” in Croatian with the support of the Book Institute
A translation of Stanisław Lem’s Pamiętnik znaleziony w wannie (“Memoirs Found in a Bathtub’”) has recently been published in Croatia. The book was translated by Adrian Cvitanović, and the publication was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.
