“Traktat o łuskaniu fasoli” by Myśliwski in Turkish with the support of the Book Institute
A translation of Wiesław Myśliewski’s Traktat o łuskaniu fasoli (“A Treatise on Shelling Beans”) has been recently published in Turkey. The book was translated by Neşe Taluy Yüce. The publication was supported by the Book Institute as part of the @POLAND Translation Programme.
The Translation of Marcin Świetlicki’s poems nominated for the PEN Award for Poetry in Translation
The nominations for the PEN America Awards have been announced. In the “Poetry in Translation” category, among ten nominated entries, a selection of poems by Marcin Świetlicki entitled Night Truck Driver, translated by Elżbieta Wójcik-Leese, can be found.
