The nominations for the PEN America Awards have been announced. In the “Poetry in Translation” category, among ten nominated entries, a selection of poems by Marcin Świetlicki entitled Night Truck Driver, translated by Elżbieta Wójcik-Leese, can be found.

A collection of essays by Marek A. Cichocki, translated by Martin Veselka and Josef Mlejnek, has been recently published in the Czech Republic. The publication was supported by the Book Institute within the ©POLAND Translation Programme.

The Dutch news service Blendle has published a list of ten books recommended by Dutch booksellers, which were published last year. Among the titles from all over the world, Jakub Małecki’s Rdza (“Rust”) made it onto the list.
