Last week, on 12-14 June, the tenth seminar for foreign publishers took place. As part of this cyclical event, the Book Institute presents the most interesting phenomena on the Polish publishing market to guests from all over the world.
On June 13, 2025, during a ceremonial gala at the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Krakow, the laureate of the 21st edition of the Transatlantyk Prize, the most important distinction awarded annually by the Book Institute to ambassadors of Polish literature abroad, was announced. The award was given to Xavier Farré, an outstanding translator of Polish literature into Catalan and Spanish.
The tenth seminar for foreign publishers will last from Thursday to Saturday, during which the Book Institute will present the most interesting phenomena on the Polish publishing market to publishers from all over the world. This year, representatives of 17 publishing houses from all over the world, selected from over 150 applications, will visit Kraków.
