The ©POLAND Translation Programme aims to promote Polish literature throughout the world. It is aimed at foreign and Polish publishers interested in publishing Polish books in foreign-language translations.

Foreign publishers can use the grant to finance part of the costs of publishing the work, including, among others, translating the work from Polish into another language and purchasing copyright licenses. The subsidy can also be granted for printing children’s books, comics or richly illustrated works.

In 2024 alone, we co-financed 180 foreign editions of Polish books, for which we allocated over 670 thousand euros. In all editions of the program, we have co-financed a total of almost 3,400 translations of Polish books into foreign languages.
