Anna Bikont and Jacek Dukaj at the Le Livre sur les Quais Festival

The sixteenth Le Livre sur les Quais Festival took place in Morges from September 5th to 7th. This literary celebration on Lake Geneva was full of meetings, discussions, workshops, and readings with the public. The theme of this edition of the Swiss event was the five senses.
Among the approximately 150 invited authors were also representatives of Poland: Anna Bikont and Jacek Dukaj. Jacek Dukaj participated in the following events:
- September 6th, “Vertiges du temps, vertiges du corps. Humanité, machines et futurs divergents”
- September 7th, “Lettres d’Europe en moss et en musique”
Anna Bikont presented her research and reportage at the following events:
- September 6th, “Mémoires enfouies et vérités retrouvées”
- September 7th, “Dismantling Conspiracies of Silence: A 1941 Anti-Jewish Pogrom in a Small Polish Town”
Jacek Dukaj and Anna Bikont also signed books.
The Book Institute financed both authors’ participation in the event.
